The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is the lack of a warning sound when the eggs are done. The light turns off and the cooker shuts off, but the other day it unexpectedly turned back on. My husband was on an important call and forgot to remove the eggs right away; I believe condensation caused it to restart. Our previous egg cooker from a different brand had a loud, disruptive alarm that could wake the entire neighborhood. I appreciate that this manufacturer seems to have considered that some family members might be sleeping in the morning, but it would be safer to have at least a light indicator or a brief low beep to signal that cooking is complete. Overall, it’s a great, practical appliance that doesn’t take up much space and is easy to use and clean.
