I tried placing a plate underneath to keep the counter dry, but that quickly became a hassle as the legs would continue to drip once I removed it. Additionally, the unit started to make an odd noise when powered on. Ultimately, I had to discard it. I cannot recommend this product. Bella, please improve your quality, as this seems to be a common issue among customers.

I really appreciate how small and compact this product is. Despite reading all the 1, 2, and 3-star reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I’m glad I did, as it didn’t leak water like some people mentioned. Just remember to lift the lid carefully due to the hot steam inside. Out of 6 eggs, 2 ended up cracking, but the shells came off easily. The instructions mention you can cook with or without a hole in the egg, and I chose not to puncture them. As shown in my pictures, the eggs cracked after 10 minutes, but they were fully hard-boiled after 18 minutes. I used distilled water as recommended, but it still got a bit burnt, as seen in the photo. The cleanup is easy: just wait for it to cool down, then wipe it with a paper towel and white vinegar, and it comes off effortlessly! If you read and follow the included instructions, you shouldn’t encounter any issues.
